As there are already many Christian articles and blogs out there, it was with some hesitation that I decided to add to the existing library of resources available. Had there already been easily accessible content sharing the same perspectives as contained on this site, I would have no compelling reason for writing and would have delighted in the clear exposition of the biblical worldview with respect to these specific issues.
In our own journey with wrestling through how we, as Christians, ought to view IVF, unborn children, embryo adoption, and the state of the culture of both our society and the professing church with regards to the aforementioned topics, it was surprisingly difficult to find helpful resources. Insofar as there remains scarcity and lack of clarity with regards to the expounding of the truth of God’s Word with respect to these issues, my hope is these writings would serve the purpose of edifying the Church.
Just as my hope is that one day there will no longer be a need for adopting frozen children in their embryonic stage of development because no such child would exist, it is equally my hope that these writings would no longer be of benefit to the Church because the Church has already contemplated deeply and steadfastly committed to living in accordance to His Word with regards to these issues.
“You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind, and with all your strength.” Mark 12:30
Lastly, my writings serve as a journal for me and my family. My hope is that my children, especially those God has brought into our family through adoption, would one day be able to, through reading these writings, reflect upon the supernatural workings of God upon the minds and hearts of their parents and recognize that this God is the sovereign, saving, adopting, providential God who foreknew them and created them.
“Does it grieve you my friends, that the name of God is being taken in vain and desecrated? Does it grieve you that we are living in a godless age… But, we are living in such an age and the main reason we should be praying about revival is that we are anxious to see God’s name vindicated and His glory manifested. We should be anxious to see something happening that will arrest the nations, all the peoples, and cause them to stop and to think again.”
